It was the annual Ducklings Playgroup Easter Hat Parade today. Kaitlyn's hat was a symbol of having a mum 'who works outside of the home' i.e. last year's hat fished out of the cupboard at the last minute, with half the decorations missing/broken.
She looks like she enjoyed it. My kids hats this year were a product of having a heavily pregnant mum with no energy to help (or actually no real inclination! I am not very arty, so was a good excuse for me!) I let them loose with all the stuff, and they pretty much did it all on their own- was a tad embarassing when we got to school, and saw that almost all the other mums had pretty much made the hats- there were some fantastic designs, and my kids didnt look so great next to theirs! Ah well- at least they enjoyed it!
